The short version
- No cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking scripts. Nothing from YouTube or other platforms loads unless you choose it.
- The finance tools work only inside your browser. Files you open in them are never uploaded, stored or seen by anyone, including me.
- If you use the contact form, only what you type is sent to me by email, and only after you tick the consent box.
Finance tools
Every calculator and tool on this site works inside your browser; none of them sends what you type or upload anywhere. The tools that read your files (GST reconciliation, duplicate and variance analyzer, GSTIN checker) and the Ind AS 116 lease calculator are also served with an extra security policy that blocks those pages, and the background workers that process your file, from making any network connection at all, so the data cannot leave your device. When you close or refresh the tab, the data is gone. Reports you download are created on your computer.
Site search and the Ask AI panel
Site search and the Ask AI panel run inside your browser: they search a list of this site's pages and read the page you are on. The optional one-click summary uses the AI model built into your browser, on your device, where available. The Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini buttons open those third-party services in a new tab with a question about the page; nothing is sent until you click, and their own privacy terms apply. Please do not share personal or financial details with them.
Videos
The videos page shows this site's own artwork until you press "Show thumbnails and allow players". Only after that do thumbnails load from YouTube (Google), and videos play in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Your choice is remembered only in your own browser, and you can undo it with "Forget my choice".
Live updates
The updates page loads a list of official SEBI and PIB headlines from a public file on GitHub Pages. No personal data is sent; the request carries no cookies.
Contact form
The form asks for your name, email address, topic and message, and optionally your company. This information is used for one purpose only: to reply to your enquiry. It is delivered to me by email through Formspree, Inc., a form-to-email service that processes it on my behalf and may store it on servers outside India, under its own privacy policy. I do not add you to any mailing list, do not use your details for marketing, and do not sell or share them with anyone else. Please do not send confidential, financial or identity information through the form.
You give consent by ticking the box before sending; the form cannot be sent without it. You can withdraw consent at any time, and withdrawal does not affect replies already sent.
Your rights under the DPDP Act, 2023
- Ask for a summary of the personal data I hold about you and how it is used.
- Ask for it to be corrected, completed, updated or erased.
- Withdraw consent.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights if you are unable to.
- Raise a grievance with me first, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
I delete enquiry emails once they are no longer needed, and in any case within 12 months of our last contact unless we agree to keep working together. This website is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Language
On request, I will provide this notice in English or in any language listed in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India.

Hosting
The site is hosted on Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect against abuse. I do not use this information to identify you.
